Many in the vaping community regularly debate the subject of steeping (or aging) e-liquids. Here at Backwoods Brew we feel that some flavors are most certainly changed with the aging process. Why this happens, depends greatly upon whom you might ask. The general consensus is the aging process allows the flavors to blend evenly and lets the oxidation process start within the nicotine. This process can deepen and bring forward the predominant flavor of the juice. For the Brews made in our lab, the tobacco flavors tend to benefit most from the steeping process. Our recommendation with any juice is to give it a try, If you are not pleased at first give it a few days to steep. Repeat this process for several weeks. Often you will find a point in the maturation process that you will like. Everyone's steep time will be different due to the extremely different way in which we all perceive taste.

Well I hope you all enjoyed the Grand Opening of the new site and got to see the new items we are carrying as well as the functionality of this versus the old site. We feel a much needed improvement was needed and feel confident this will make for a much smoother, easier to use site with a lot more functionality.

You asked and we have answered! In the next few days 60ml bottles (actually 67ml) will become available for most of our e-liquids. The anticipated price for these is $32.00. We are very pleased to be able to offer these after the numerous requests.

We will also be adding black 510 drip tips and standard resistance 510 attys to the lineup very soon.

E-liquids

We currently have multiple new flavors in the works. While we wont reveal exactly what they are just yet, we will say they are something different than anything else we are currently offering.

Unfortunately the arrival of new juices often means the passing on of the under performing flavors. We hate discontinuing product but unfortunately it is a must.

RY4 and Ejoker

The recent offering of Ry4 and Ejokers was fast and furious as always. We are currently working hard to fill all of those orders.
 
If you missed out on the latest offering, DON'T WORRY! I assure you there is more to go around. We only listed a portion of what is on hand to limit the delay in filling orders.
 
There will be a second batch offered very soon ONLY for those THAT DID NOT GET IT LAST TIME. If you are one of those individuals, that did not get to order any,  go and sign up to be notified on the product page. When it becomes available and you are placing these orders use the special coupons "ry4" and "ejoker" to get the grand opening price. This must be used in addition to "ecf10" to get the full discount. Essentially you will have to enter 3 coupon codes if you want to take advantage of the special offer.

Please remember that this is only for those who have not already purchased these flavors. We want to try our best to ensure everyone gets a chance to enjoy these juices this time around.

What is a Soy Candle?

Soy wax is a new alternative to paraffin wax, made from soybeans, is renewable and cost effective. The soybean is one of the most versatile products used today. It has been a high protein source for millions of people for thousands of years. Soybean is the most promising natural wax available.

Natural waxes such as soy waxes are gaining in popularity but natural waxes are not new. Beeswax and tallow were used in colonial times to produce candles. Beeswax is a great natural alternative to paraffin, but unfortunately, to get the same results as a soy-based candle, it is cost prohibitive to use 100% beeswax in candles.

Soy is in lots of things like body & skin care products, hair products, crayons, and cleaning products. The production and burning of soy wax candles can greatly benefit the American agricultural economy. When soy wax replaces common paraffin wax, an estimated 60 million pounds of soy beans will be required for annual candle production. Lots of  happy farmers! The U.S. grows the vast majority of the world's soy beans, primarily in Illinois, Iowa, and Indiana.

Soy candles are eco-friendly, renewable, American grown, sustainable, carbon neutral; the list goes on and on……
